These are original, unpublished photos taken of the Anzio beachhead by a soldier of the 45th Infantry Division. These photos, along with about 50 others, were purchased from an estate sale several years ago. I was able to then purchase them from the buyer.  These are not Signal Corps photos.
As I find the time, I will be adding more photos from this collection to the site. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do. 
I also have quite a few original Signal Corps photos taken in the ETO. Many of these have original Censor Stamps on the back, and some have been marked in pen on the face by the unit censor. I will be trying to get some of these up as well.

This group of pictures were taken by my father in late 1945, after the Japanese surrender. These pictures show General MacArthur and his Staff escorting some Japanese Military delagates around war torn Manila.
