WORLD WAR 2 RANGERS TODAY
Len Lomell, D Company 2nd Ranger Battalion, takes a moment to pose with one of our members at the WW2 weekend in 2007. In the next photo, Mr Lomell is standing along side Col. Robert W Black, the author of several outstanding books including "Rangers in WW2" and "The Battalion: The Dramatic story of the 2nd Ranger Battalion in World War 2".
Col. Black served with the Rangers in Korea and Viet Nam.

Harold Plank, Headquarters Company 2nd Ranger Battalion, recounts his D-Day experiences with members of our unit.  These 2 Photos were taken at the World War 2 Weekend Airshow and Living History Event in Reading Pennsylvania in June 2005. Mr Plank landed at Pointe Du Hoc and was in the same Landing Craft as Lt Col James Rudder.

He is pictured on the left with his lovely wife and his grandson,
In the photo on the right he is surrounded by members of our unit gathered around our unit sign.
