June 27-29 This event is A World War II style encampment where units can come and enjoy a summer among friends. We have the use of a large field and a large wooded hillside near an antique early American living history farm.
The land does not lend itself to a full day tactical, but we will be running small unit squad based patrols throughout the day. Units can engage in as many as they choose. We have several scenarios in store. This will be an excellent place to work on squad tactics. We will provide water, firewood for campfires, portable facilities, and a Saturday evening meal, either a barbeque or a catered meal. Vehicles and static displays are encouraged as we expect public turnout. And if there is interest we would like to hold a public battle in the afternoon. But that will be a game time decision.
All units are welcome to camp out Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. Period tentage required.
